Privacy Policy

Effective: 7 September 2026Version: 1.0Data controller: Nimbolic Ltd

Bu politikanın Türkçesi: Gizlilik Politikası.

1. Summary

  • Your tables never leave your device. Excel and CSV files are opened and processed on your phone; their contents are never sent to any server.
  • There is no account. Peekly never asks for your name, email, phone number or card details.
  • No analytics, no ads. The app contains no tracking, advertising or measurement SDK.
  • The one exception is the subscription. To verify your subscription, limited anonymous data is processed by the store (Google Play / App Store) and our subscription provider RevenueCat. Details in section 5.

This policy explains which data is processed where when you use the Peekly mobile app (the "App"). It is written to comply with the UK GDPR and Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698).

2. Data controller

The App is developed and offered by Nimbolic Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (London · Istanbul).

3. What we do not collect

Peekly has no server. The following is never collected, transmitted or stored under any circumstances:

  • The contents of the tables you open: cells, headers, sheet names, formulas.
  • Copies of your files. Peekly only reads a file; it never writes to, moves or deletes the source.
  • Identity data: name, email, phone number, address.
  • Location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera.
  • Usage analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers.

This is not just a statement: before every release the App's web layer passes an automated "no external requests" check, and every library that handles tables is bundled inside the App. The App does not need the internet to open a table.

4. Kept on your device

Some information is kept only on your phone, inside the App's own storage, so the App can work. None of it reaches Nimbolic.

DataPurposeHow to delete
Filter and summary layouts you save ("My filters")Re-apply the same layout with one tapMenu → Clear my data, or one by one
Values you picked in a filter (e.g. "East", "Online")Part of the layout; the table itself is not storedDeleted with the layout
Name, row/column count and access permission of recently opened files"Recent files" list; the file is not copied, only the permission is keptRemove from the list, or Clear my data
"Where you left off" recordReopen a file with the filters you had openClear my data
Settings: language, theme, page size, haptics, number formatRemember your preferencesUninstall the App
Subscription status cacheRecognise your subscription while offlineUninstall the App

Uninstalling the App deletes all of this. Because Peekly keeps no copy on any server, deleted data cannot be recovered.

On Android, if your device's Google backup setting is on, app preferences may be included in your Google account backup. That backup is managed by Google under Google's privacy policy; your file contents are never part of it.

5. Subscription and payment

A Peekly subscription is purchased through Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). The store takes the payment; Peekly never sees your card details, name or email. Data collected by the store is governed by Google's and Apple's own privacy policies.

To verify whether your subscription is active we use our service provider RevenueCat, Inc. (USA). The data processed during this verification:

DataDescription
Anonymous app user IDA random identifier generated when the App is first opened. It is not linked to you, to an account or to a device identifier.
Purchase informationThe purchase token issued by the store, product ID, start/end dates, renewal and cancellation status.
Device and app informationDevice model, operating system version, app version, language.
IP address and timestampProcessed technically on the server side during the connection.

Purpose: recognise the subscription you bought, restore it when you change devices, and notify you inside the App of a billing problem. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5/2-c).

RevenueCat processes this data on Nimbolic's behalf as a data processor and does not use it for its own purposes. Its servers are located in the USA; the transfer is covered by the contractual safeguards required by applicable law. RevenueCat's policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

This data is processed only if you have a subscription or open the subscription purchase screen. Your tables are never part of this process.

6. Sharing features

Peekly lets you send a filtered table, a summary or a filter layout (.peekly file) to an app you choose (email, messaging, file manager). You start the share; the content goes directly to the app you selected and does not pass through Nimbolic.

When you share a filter layout, the values selected in it (for example a customer name) travel with it. The App shows you this before sharing.

7. App permissions

  • File access: Peekly reaches only the file you pick through the system file picker (Android Storage Access Framework / iOS document picker). It never requests access to all storage. For "Recent files" a persistent read permission for the chosen file is kept; removing it from the list releases the permission.
  • Internet: only for subscription verification (section 5).
  • Vibration: touch feedback; can be turned off in settings.

8. Retention

  • Data on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the App.
  • Subscription verification data is kept for as long as your subscription lasts and afterwards for the period required by store refund and dispute processes and by legal obligations.

9. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing and to lodge a complaint. Send requests to destek@nimbolic.com; we reply within 30 days.

Note: because Peekly works without accounts, subscription verification data is held only under an anonymous app ID. To act on your request we may need the details shown on the App's "About Peekly" screen.

You may complain to the ICO in the United Kingdom (ico.org.uk) or to the Personal Data Protection Authority in Turkey.

10. Children

Peekly is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. The App does not ask for personal information in the first place.

11. Security

Because tables never leave your device, the strongest safeguard is the architecture itself. Subscription verification connections are encrypted (HTTPS). App data on your device is kept in the operating system's app sandbox, out of reach of other apps.

12. Changes

When we update this policy we change the effective date and version and announce material changes inside the App. Previous versions are available on request.
